Music Series

Celebrating the musical talents of Stevens’ students, the Music Series presents concerts such as
the Stevens Choir and Stevens Concert Band at DeBaun Auditorium, Stevens Jazz Band in the
Bissinger Room and special recitals in the Great Hall at the S.C. Williams Library and the Ondrick
Music Room in the Howe Center. The music selection varies from traditional to modern and often
features amazing vocal and/or instrumental soloists.

Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 8 p.m.
Evening of Jazz Music featuring Gerald (Jerry) Ficeto on
percussion joined by the NYC Jazz Trio for an evening of

Piano Concert featuring 6 piano students of
Artist-in-Residence Phillip Dieckow. The concert will
feature a special piece written for 4 hands and cello.

Evening of Cabaret Music featuring the vocal talent of
Robert Gonzales Jr., with special guest Kelly Nichols,
performing some well-known and new theater songs in a

Duo piano concert featuring Nicholas Capalbo and Joel
Condon with special guest Da Wei Hou on Cello.

students of Martin Andersen and opera performances by
advanced students of Bethany Reeves.

Opera Night--This event was cancelled and will be
performed at the Evening of Classical Music on Friday,
April 9 as part of the Library Concert Series.

Voice recital featuring the vocal students of Bethany
Reeves, Artist-in-Residence. The recital showcases
over 15 Stevens students and the repertoire features
Broadway, standards, opera and various arts songs.
The recital is free and open to all with light
